I'm not alone in my horror. A few years ago, a report commissioned by the respected Australian Institute coined a new phrase to describe the commercial sexualisation of children: 'corporate paedophilia'.

I am utterly horrified that Adults are targeting these pre-teens and sexualising them, well before their time. Should we be surprised that these Kids are giving blow jobs at the back of the school toilets at the age of 11 and are knocked up by the time they are 12? When I was growing up, I had no idea what a blow job was, the thought of kissing a boy made me feel ill and I was interested in climbing trees, playing with my Matchbox cars or dressing up like She-Ra (showing my age here! haha). Studies show that early sexualisation in Girls, leads to eating disorders, low self-esteem and depression. The media is already telling impressionable young girls that being thin is beautiful, there have been cases of 9 year olds with Anorexia! What the fuck is going on with the World?
